Is the ice rink easy to install?
Yes! No skilled labor required. However, we will help with the first installation of the rink with both advice and support.
What are the conditions for installing the subfloor?
Any surface will work as long as the surface is straight, flat and hard. Concrete, wood, asphalt, tiled, etc. surfaces are best suited.
How does the connection system between the panels work?
The connection between the panels is maintained by a dowel and dowel system. Dowel connectors made of the same material as the panels are used to connect each panel.
Can normal skates be used on the panels?
Yes.
Do the panels need to be protected from scratches?
There is no need to worry about scratches, they occur over time and do not affect the functionality of the artificial ice. The panels are made of very high-density material, so scratches remain only on the surface and do not go deep into the panels.
Can the rink be used outdoors?
Yes, the rink is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation and can be used in almost all weather conditions. Thanks to the unique UV treatment, the panels withstand the temperature range from -80°C to 100°C without changing their surface color.
What happens when it rains or snows?
Rain and snow will not damage the rink panels. The weather does not affect the properties of the artificial ice or the sliding, but it is recommended to sweep or shovel the area before use.
What maintenance does the rink require?
The maintenance costs of an artificial ice rink are very low compared to the traditional ice rink. Simply clean the rink once a day with a vacuum cleaner or brush. Then clean the surface every 7-10 days with a wet cleaning machine with rotating brushes or a pressure washer. Use only pH neutral liquid soap.
Can advertisements be placed on the fences?
Yes, transparent railings are specially designed for sticking advertising posters.
How durable are the fences?
The fences are intended for normal use, i.e. not intended for hockey.
